It takes a bit longer, about 2-4 months, to visibly recognize AHA-related anti-aging benefits, like a decrease in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

AHAs act at the surface of the skin, removing dead skin cells to brighten your skin, improving texture and tone. AHAs are water-soluble, and are often found in water-based products suitable for normal to dry skin types.

In the process of doing so, AHAs like glycolic acid, lactic acid, and tartaric acid can increase UV sensitivity and hyperpigmentation from the sun. This is why we recommend wearing sunscreen when using products containing AHAs
